    I’m looking to add more stupid tube setups to my arsenal & I don’t want to waste any more money getting the wrong sized stupid jighead or wrong sized tube. (See pic below, having trouble finding a good tube to go with these) I’m wanting a weighted weedless presentation for my tube setups and I’m wanting to know what brand/size tubes people use and what brand/size/weight stupid jig heads to pair with them. I need a finesse (2-3”) weighted weedless tube setup and a normal (3.5”+) weighted weedless setup as well. Sometimes I’ll even use a shaky head setup with tubes and use a a little under 1” of plastic worm inside as my base. If anyone does this and has a favorite set up let me know! Im going to try out the V&M pair on tacklewarehouse. Sounds like their 1/8 3/0 will pair well with the 3.5” tube. As of now, the owner phantom is the only one I’ve found to work well for me. What are some favorite stupid tube set ups you all like to use?

    What tube jigs do all you smallmouth guys use? I've used some cheap ones I got online, and i love confidence baits draggin heads, but i want some traditional jigs for Sturgeon Bay.

    Okay so first off I would like to say that I am still relatively inexperienced in the great sport of angling. Last year I began learning to drag tube baits when I found a bunch of them in my uncles tacklebox. I was intrigued and decided to rig them the way they are normally rigged on a tube jig head by sticking them through and popping the eye out. I had quite a bit of luck this way and even landed a solid 4pnd 12oz smallmouth! my pb smallmouth. When I did research online I realized I however seem to be the only one who has fished these baits on a BALL HEAD JIG like this:http://www.junebugtackle.com/jig-head-cannon-ball.php as opposed to a TUBE bait jig head like this:http://www.sportsmanswarehouse.com/sportsmans/Troutsmen-Jig-Head-Tube-Head/productDetail/Jig-Heads/prod9999008466/cat101088 , my question is, is the ball head jig hindering the action of the bait and would I have better luck with a tube jig head? THANK YOU!

    Hey guys, I am about to pickup a GLX BSR803 in great condition for $200. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on this rod and what techniques it excels at? I would be using it mainly for wacky rigging 5" senkos as well as 3/16 oz. tubes, and 3/16 oz. - 1/4 oz. shaky heads. Thanks guys!
