  1. Finally had the chance to fish the Zoom trick worm and it was love at first sight. Had tons of bites but never had a solid hookset. I think I was using a 4/0 EWG What hook size and style will give a tx-rig newbie the best hooksets? My buddy who works at BPS recommended a 3/0 Gamma G-Lock and a member who turned them on to me recommended a 3/0 Gamma Offset Worm Hook. It will be forever since I get to fish next so I'm interested in getting a consensus. These worms have so much action! As always, thanks in advance for the advice. I can't stop learning from this site.
  2. Hey all, I'm trying to put together a list of different ways to rig soft plastics. Pretty straightforward. I'm planning to try all these this summer, and maybe do a how-to on them. So far we've got: Texas rig Carolina rig Wacky rig Drop shot rig Neko rig Alabama rig Weightless rig Shaky head rig General jig rigging (football, swim, bladed) Ball head/underspin rig Split shot rig That's all I got so far. Let's hear some more, plus any you randomly come up with!
  3. I've just started to read into the history of the ned rig. So from what I've read, it's pretty much a shortened senko or senko like bait on a 1/16 jighead with an oversized hook. Asside from an exposed hook, is the trick behind it the position of the eyelet? Also would setting it up with a scrounger jig be counterintuitive? I was thinking about busting out 4 ned rigs for this weekend. 2 normal jigheads and two scroungers with two trick worms and two senkos.
