  1. Hey Guys, Headed to Tenessee with the Penn State Bass Fishing Team in a week to fish a college FLW event on the Cherokee Resivoir. Not familiar with southern fishing as I am from Pennsylvania. If you've fished this lake in particular or have an idea on how you'd attack it, I'd love to get some of your input. I'm really thinking I'll focus in jig and senko for the most part. Thanks and keep those lines tight
  2. So I’m a hourish away from LBL and I don’t have a boat so I’m stuck at the shore. I was reading online that there are many interior ponds. I spent a little over an hour on google with no luck. I called the visitor center and they told me to go to their website but their website didn’t help because under the fishing fact sheet 2018 it doesn’t give me that actual locations to the interior ponds. If anyone knows any places besides golden pond please let me know.
  3. Hey I'm moving near Fort Campbell soon and I'm looking for some good places to go bass fishing. I tried looking online but all I'm seeing is lake Kyle, and land between lakes. I currently don't have a boat so I'm limited to shore fishing. Do y'all know of any places? Thanks in advanced.
  4. Just recently got back into bass fishing (vs throwing a night crawler with buddies, or flipping a rooster tail in for bluegill every now and again) and was wondering what anyone has had good luck with as far as baits go for East TN bass fishing. I've been chugging away with hard plastic swim baits and cranks, and had some success, but have not been able to get my jig game where I feel like it needs to be! I feel like I'm just "fishing in the dark" so to speak, with the jigs anyway! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Keep on fishing hombres!
  5. New to the forum and have caught my first 4 large mouth bass ever this year off Percy Priest lake banks and loved catching them. I will be searching this forum for tips on becoming better and would hopefully like to partner up with more experienced anglers near me on a boat(I don't own one) and learn how to catch bass on weekends. I Hopefully plan to enter a couple tournaments this year also. Thanks to everyone ahead of time for any info shared.
  6. Just wanted to start a chat about Kentucky lake Paris landing area. Let me know if you fish it and let's compare notes. 7. Well folks, its been awhile since I have made a post. Ive moved to the gulf coast of Florida from Palm beach within the last yr, and now heading up to Middle Tennessee to move and cant wait to be in cooler weather. I will be living on percy priest in a nice area with abundant smallies and largies and even rockies lol. I have several set ups I can use for Percy Priest lake in Nashville. But I am curious. What rod and real combos do you use to free line shiners or other tackle for stripers that are 30+ lbs in the Old Hickory area. What about the Percy Priest area where the stripers are generally smaller? I grew up mainly fishing for Smallies and Largies in Ohio and been hammering peacocks and largemouths in Florida. I have a few light tackle inshore rods i use for snook and redfish. Any tips for stripers rod/reel combos regarding size of rod, type of reel, and line to use etc. Thanks folks and happy holidays. Sean
  8. hey local fisherman, anyone know the common crayfish colors by season around the fort loudoun area? trying to put together a box of "match the hatch" crawfish lures.
  9. I am looking for partner for the upcoming TN Trail Tournaments http://www.tnteamtrail.com/ in 2017. I have the boat and have fished lots of tournaments before but this will be my first go around here in East TN. So someone with some knowledge of the lakes and skills would be what I am looking for. I have experience fishing tournament circuits and fishing partners so if your interested please educate yourself on the series before sending me an email. I plan to fish all the events to include the classic in the Fall be sure you can participate in all the events. Also winnings and cost are split down the middle from entry fees to Boat gas and NO I am not going to beat you down for every penny but keeping it fair is a must we all have mouths to feed. If this is you and what you might be looking for shoot me an email at brucelasiter@gmail.com and lets GO FISHING. Thanks for Looking, Bruce
  10. Has anyone been catching anything on Norris Lake in East Tennessee? I've searched local forums and fishing reports but I haven't had any luck.
  11. So, recently I have been doing a lot of fishing! I went to Neshoba with Kent a few weeks ago, and for the past 4 trips I have caught all solid 2/3 pounders each time there. I have no clue why but all I've been throwing is chatterbait recently and they are great! so, I went to my local baitshop, there I met a pro fisherman, his name was Steve I think, but he told me he had been putting fish in my local pond and he sure wasn't lying! Not sure on the weight and I'm bad at judging that! But that's the picture! So anybody else in my area had luck? Anybody ever fish Herb Parsons, I wanna go to that lake? Well thanks y'all!
