I am fishing in dark green water. I'm not sure how you define it but it could be considered stained? Maybe a little less than a foot of visibility from what I can tell (more or less). 90 degrees plus in the south, fishing in MS. I read somewhere that jigs were primarily clear water lures... WHAT?! Please tell me that black and blue jigs are still widely known as the best bass bait for darker water? Also, are they a "year-around" bait or are they seasonal? I would be great if someone just broke down the basics of jig fishing (where, when, how, color). It would be so greatly appreciated.
