  1. Hi all ? Wondering what fluorocarbon you use for Spinning reel and baitcasters. I tried out several few years back for spinning and baitcasters. I liked Sunline Super FC Sniper Flourocarbon for my baitcasters. Really like how it performs! I’ve used Suffix fluorocarbon but it would tangle as season gone on. Not a big fan it’s just “decent.” whats your fluorocarbon for spinning and baitcasters!? How is the Suffix Flourocarbon Advance? Seen it was new. Thanks!
  2. Has anyone used this line? Braid, fluro, mono, fly line, catfish line.. any of it?. I can't seem to find a distributor in the US. I would love to try the 12 carat line or the platinum line of braid.. found something on Amazon UK. That's about it. Nothing concrete locally.. https://www.climax-fishingline.de/en/products/braided-lines/ Here is their main website.. if they make fishing line anything like their cars, It would be lights out!
  3. So I'm looking for a new braided fishing line and I have used Daiwa line and have had multiple problems and I've also used power pro which I've also had problems with. So I need help on deciding a good braided fishing line these were I few I was looking at. •seaguar smackdown/flipping •suffix 832 •p line tcb braid
  4. Okay so I have a new setup down packed for what I want , I can't afford 10 different poles for all different things so I'm getting the G Loomis E6X casting rod, 7'1 medium heavy, or heavy fast action.. For an all around setup... The reel is a Shimano Ctitica 7,2:1 left retrieve. I am going to put 50lb braid on it , because I love frogging , but this is going to be my only rod and reel bait casting setup... So here's the question , if I wanted to use like a deep diving crankbait or Texas rig up some stuff, like something that doesn't need 50lb braid, would putting on like a 15lb flouro leader be okay for deep diving crankbaits and Texas rigs and stuff like that? The braid is Suffix 832 50 lb low vi green.. And I think the flouro will be Seagur invisex... Thank you in the mean time !!!
  5. So I finally, after 4 years of fishing 65# braid bought a spool of Suffix 832 instead of the ole Original PowerPro. Power Pro has always been good to me, but now the advancement in lines these day, can cut down on a few minor annoyances I have with Power Pro.... 1st, Line Dig in spool...even on 10, 30 & 50, power pro sees to hang on occasion when casting due to line digging 2nd, Color fade, Im a green moss guy and always will be. I use Reel butter line conditioner and when I do fish braid, its frogging matts, slop and pads so all lines will fade, just seems a little quick with PP. Last but not least! Noise, PP Super Slick is not bad at all, but its still p0wer pro and has the line dig and fade, just not as much. I fish 3-4 differnt lakes with differnt quality throughout the year, and feel comfortable with 90% flourocarbon, so use SL Sniper all the way up to 25# for flipping wood and docks, beside SL Senshi mono for topwater, frogging and the occasional punch/flip into heavy vegetation. Suggestions, thoughts, go to he11, lol. Discuss
  6. I'm confused about the true Braid to mono equivelant. I'm reffering to Power Pro Braid, on Cabelas website, Power Pro says that the ratios are:(braid:mono) 15:4 20:6 30:8 etc... However Shimanos website contradicts this. Shimano says that a 2500 size reel will hold 140 yards of 8 lb. mono but only 95 yards of 30 lb. Power Pro. If the ratios were correct than the reel should be able to hold the same amount of 8 lb. mono as 30 lb. braid...Any light on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
