  2. Just wondering if anyone has caught or seen any other rare and interesting kinds of bass. We caught an orange largemouth recently in Ohio, caught and released in a pond. I know on rare occasion people find albino bass or ones with dark spots and deformities, so have any of you found any or know anyone who has? Interested to know what all is hiding out there.
  3. hello, ive been catching some bass on the banks on fort loudoun lake and one on cherokee lake. I am new to fishing and didnt give much thought on the matter originally. I thought all of these were largemouth but now i think most might be spotted bass. Can you experts help me identify them please? Im trying to keep a log and also learn so i can identify better in the future. I understand the mouth size of spotted vs largemouth but when i took my pictures i didnt think about laying them flat. Can help? one of the pics is hard to see but if you look close you can see the position of the eye. Thx! p.s. Modeators your site is broken..i kept getting "you cant upload image greater than 150kb error even with a 56kb size image.
  4. I really would like to get more fishing in this season. But I need help finding the better spots. Are there any good spots I can fish from the bank? I've tried Grafton Lakes before, and it was ok. I'd like to try some spots with less or no boat activity. I prefer to stay in the Capital District area, mainly Rensselaer, Albany, Schenectady, and maybe Saratoga Counties. Where should I be checking? I'm up for all kinds of fishing: BASS, trout, panfish, catfish, etc. Thx,
