  1. hi my name is michael and iam from sevierville tn ive fished the pegon river all my life iam 29 years old and ive seen lots off lures that work and ones that dont work most off the pegon river is mostly shalow with deep pockets in serten spots priity much what i recomind is throwing a 3 two 4 inch tube on a off set bass hook and put you a split shot about a few inches above it the color i would use are pumken seed watermelon seed or green pumken those are your natual colors for the clear water another plastic lure i like two use is the kalens lunker grubs in 3 inch colors are pumken seed and watermelon seed and i also use a 1/16 oz jig head on the 3 inch grubs and i also use a 4 inch and win i use a 4 inch i use a 1/8 oz jig head for my fishing rods i use a berkly cherry wood 2 pice 7 foot med act rod with an abu garcia cardinal 101 real with power pro 10 lb braid 2 diamiter and becues iam mostly bank fishing i use bass proshops xps stalker back pack or my out door products 3.0 back pack the way i fish the tubes i just cast it out up streem and i just let it flow down streem slowy realing in the slack line so basicly the bat is doing the work for me now with the grubs all i do is just cast it out and i do a slow stedy smoth retrve all the way back to me i dont change the real speed win the water warms up or win it gets colder with the slow and steady movement off the bat allows for the tail on the bait two atract the fish and thats all u well need i also live my hook exsposed so win the fish grabs the bat its eazyer two get a better hook set but keep in mind win doing this u might get hung up on the rocks a bit more but lets face it if we where not geting hung up a time or two we would never be catching any fish lol
