    Hi! I'm new to this forum and recently started fishing. To that end, I have acquired a 6' Shimano Sellus Travel rod Medium power, Fast action. I had intended to pick up another rod, but apparently this is what I got. What is it good for? My understanding from the site is that it's for bass fishing, but what if I want to do trout fishing? Shore fishing? Please help me understand. I have a Shimano Sienna 2500 reel and 6 lb mono spiderwire as well.

    Hi guys, This is my first post on here! A very exciting day for me since I've been using the site a lot before this and never being able to contribute. Anyways, I am 15 and jobless and looking for a spinning rod I can chuck some senkos on this summer. Preferably in the 40-60 ish price range, although some slight exceptions could be made. Also, the length and action should be about 6'6-7'0 and med extra fast. Some rods I have been looking at have been the Shimano Sellus, Fenwick Eagle and HMX, Berkley Lightning shock, and some BPS rods. Any help would be much appreciated!
