  1. Hi guys, I've decided I should use my CB more and the reason I'm not using them is that my gear is almost all fast action or beyond except for trout rods. I was pretty much set on the Fenwick Lunker Stik in 7'3" lenght. I was wondering which power should I buy ? There is a Medium and a Medium Heavy. I have lots of thinfin size 6 and a few others. Also Rapala Lipless Rattlin Rap size 7 and 8. I could probably use the spinning med/mod. fast Elite Tech bass for the TF but I figure I would need something else for the lipless and larger cranks ?
  2. Hello, So I have been looking for a new casting rod and I came across several on tackle warehouse priced fairly well, some from Diawa, Cashion, Lews, and Ducket. I know there are technique specific rods as well, but right now I'm looking for a versatile more multipurpose type setup. I fish a lot of soft plastics but also use jigs, spinner baits, and top water lures. I'm kind of at a loss trying to pick a rod length and action that has enough sensitivity and power to fish a variety of lures (also one that doesn't break the bank). I was curious if you guys could suggest a rod that would work for my fishing styles and my wallet. Also if you have any other brand suggestions please comment! Thanks Ill take any advice you have. -Michael
  3. Hello! Being new to fishing I am needing some advise. I have a medium power rod and want to get a second rod so I can have one rigged for casting lures or ready for drop shot without having to stop and change out the rig. Do I need a ML rod? Most of my lures are 1/8 oz or 1/4 oz. I have a 5/8 jerk bait. My lures are mostly rapala size 3-6. Should I be looking at a heavier MH pole instead? Which is my medium one best for. Thx!
