  1. Hi, I'm new to the forum and I have a question. I have a spinning reel my dad bought brand new from his boss for $10 each (we have 3 or 4), retail costs I think $59. At least once a day on the lake when casting, it takes the wrong thread from the reel or whatever and makes a loop near the bail and I have to keep pulling the line until I get to where the loop is supposed to be, then untangle if it knots up, then reel it all back in. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I'm using 10lb line. I just put this line on about a month ago, after having to cut off a bunch of my previous line because the loop.
