  1. Hey Bass Resource, Here is a new video on Punching Heavy or Thick Vegetation. Hope you all like it and Merry Christmas!
  2. Hey all, I really like the look and functionality of a punching rig but honestly think it just takes too many steps and pieces to put together. I am looking to purchase a pre-made punching rig with this kind of setup, from the top to bottom of the lure: ~3/4oz Weighted Head w/ line eye connected to a Jig skirt connected to a Swivel or ring connected to an EWG worm hook If they sold these pre-made it would just be one knot, texas-rig up your soft plastic, and start punching. I know this setup somewhat resembles a jig but in this setup the hook is an EWG worm hook so there is no exposed hook. Also, because of the swivel, the hook is free to wiggle around instead of being firmly attached to the weight head. You may think I'm being lazy but I usually kayak fish with 2 rods and have to tie-on lures often due to limited rod space. Tying on a jig takes no time compared to a punch rig for me, but I like the weedless-ness and wiggly-ness of a punch rig more. Does this type of a lure exist? Thanks!
