  1. I have not found any solid information online about this. I am planning on getting Oakley Holbrooks, I want to use them for casual/stylish use and for freshwater fishing. They do not have shallow water lens for them without customization, which I do not want to do since I can get these Oakley's normally at 25% off. So I am either thinking the regular darker polarized Ice Iridium polarized at 10% light transmission with neutral contrast or the Prizm Sapphire polarized with 12% light transmission and increased contrast. I read the Prizm Sapphire is great for everyday use and they seem like they would be great for fishing too with the increase in contrast. But I do like darker lenses such as the Ice Iridium generally, and have a very positive experience with the regular HDpolarized. Please let me know what would be best for fishing SHALLOW water such as ponds and lakes. Or if a different lens might work well too! Stuck on Oakley Holbrooks, so I do not want to hear any other brand, Thanks
  2. As the title states, I'm going to finally drop a wad of cash on some glasses now that I finally got my boat a couple weeks ago. Obviously we already know everyone loves Costas, especially the Green Mirror ones, but I'm searching for peoples thought on some of the other companies out there as well. One brand would be Kaenon and the SR91 lenses, has anyone used these and what are your thought? I've seen alot of reviews even where people dropped Costas and started using some of these lenses.Oakley H20 shallows at first were another option, but I've seen mixed reviews on them and I also try to avoid supporting Luxottica as much as possible Smith could possibly be an option, but I honestly haven't done enough research on them. As far as Costas go, I know alot of people are going to recommend them, but what I would like to know is if I'm buying just ONE pair of glasses for now would the silver mirror be a better route to go vs the Green if I want to use them for everything? I see the recommendation for Green is more for sunny sight fishing and the silvers are supposed to be more versatile. I would rather have a pair of glasses that will do everything very well vs a pair that only does 1 thing great, if that makes sense. Any input would help, so many options in the sunglasses market it's a little overwhelming. Thanks
  3. Hey guys, I'm looking to tag along as a non-boater for the Oakley tournament on Lake Conroe beginning of March. My boat is currently in PA and havent had a chance to bring it back down here. Ive lived on lake Conroe for the past year. Although it is an individual tournament, you are allowed 2 people per boat and I would be willing to split any winnings I receive. $36,000 in hourly winnings and largest bass wins New Nitro Bass boat. Thanks guys!! Hopefully this message is acceptable to post here. If not, Mods feel free to move it!
