  1. Hey BR, I’m from Lake Harding Alabama, and I’m stuck in one fishing spot, due to my mode of transportation being closeminded to new spots. I’m a bank fisherman, and I don’t catch fish often. I try worms, fake worms, fish, fake fish, and mannnny other types of lures, baits etc. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, or if it’s just my spot. I fish in a cove, right next to a boat ramp on a fishing pier. Any species bigger than two pounds works. Help?
  2. Hello everyone, I've been lurking the forums since the bass fever got me a few months ago. I'm from Spain, went years ago after those greenies and recently a friend of mine started his fishing hobby and got me in the sack.
  3. Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi to the forum. I just got back into fishing after a roughly 7 year hiatus for college, postgrad life. Before that my family was avid anglers here in the west metro of MN. Now out on my own I've picked up a couple new rod and reel combos and am ready to get back into bass fishing again, this time from the bank. Tight lines and big hauls everyone.
  4. Hey guys, I'm a new bass guy. I've fished trout for over 20 years, however the bass thus far have been elusive. I was curious if anyone knew any good fisheries around killeen/ fort hood? I was just medically retired from the ARMY, and I'm looking to enjoy a little bit of free time! I'd love some insight, also be advised I'm a bank fisherman. I've tried almost everything on fort hood and stillhouse and I swear the only thing I've caught is a cold (over exageration). I've caught a couple 1-2 lb LMB, however thats after over 10 outings, 2 fish LOL!
  5. Hello i am new to the whole boat thing and i want to know what would be best for me. I want to be able to bring 1, maybe 2 people with me max. i Would like it light enough to put in the bed of a truck and being able to put a trolling motor on it would be good too. I am not set on a jon boat it can be a canoe or anything that you guys will think that will fit my needs. I am also not looking to spend 2000 bucks either. Thanks and tight lines!! Joey B <ºj))))><
  6. Okay so I'm a 15 year old and I've just now started getting serious with fishing. I've fished catfish all my life, and caught a couple bass and croppie. I really like the "fight" a bass and croppie give you rather than a catfish. Any recommendations as to where to fish, what lures to fish with, or techniques? Oh and I live in Memphis Tennessee so if anybody wants to pond I'm down. -Patrick
  7. Hello, so I've came across a structure map of this lake. I won't try to hide anything since the map is open to the public. I was wondering if any of you could help me on where to fish on this map, without actually seeing the lake. I would like to know if you could give me, what you would think are good prespawn, spawn, postspawn, summer, and fall spots. I'm a little new to the game, being 15, we have finally got a boat "haha." The lake is 899 acres, so it is quite large. I'm not to sure about where to go, but if you look at the map, if you go up to the right of the launch, its mostly "deepwater" structure, will that be good in the summer? I am trusting this forum and the people on it to be good genuine help, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks, Zach Link-----http://fishandboat.com/water/habitat/mgmt_plans/lake/quemahoning.pdf ^Also ignore the statement that says, "proposed structure" I'm pretty sure they put it in If it would be easier to respond with help, my email is fe3tper2nd@aol.com
