  1. Hello BR, It's been a while, I was wondering if anybody know some good places to Ice Fish in NH. I'm going to be going to the NH Fishing Expo on Saturday and then on Sunday I will be trying to go Ice fishing alone with my dad for the first time without a experience angler helping us. Does anybody know some good places to ice fish NH and if there is any tips I should know before I go ice fishing? Any help is greatly appreciated, Martin Sierra
  2. Looking for a day on the river later this week and have already noted the levels are safely below flood stage. Just curious if anyone has had any luck out there so far this spring. Going to make the trip up there regardless, but weighing whether to go in that direction or over to Lake St. Catherine or Somerset Reservoir. Need my river smallie fix.
  3. Hey everbody, this question is directed to new Hampshire swimbait fishermen. I'm getting into swimbaits and I'm looking for a swimbait specific rod, I keep going back and forth between dobyns fury 795 sb 1-5 oz and fury 806 sb 2-8 oz. I'm planning on using 6 inch line thru trout spro bbz 1 jr Huddleston 68. But not sure if the 8 inch Huddleston and and s waver 200 and other baits around 8 inch work good in NH. I know if I'm going to be using the lighter lures then the 795 would be good. But I'm looking for suggestions on the larger 8 inch baits also would work around these parts. If so then the 806 would be better. I mostly fish ponds and some lakes in the southern area of the state out of a Jon boat. I guess the question is, do 8 inch baits work in NH like they do in other states that have DD fish. What would you swimbait guys suggest, heavier rod and bigger baits or lighter rod and around 6 inch baits? Thanks in advance.
  4. Any one finding any bass that are starting the fall feeding pattern? Southern Maine and Southern NH just not happening for me.
  5. Hey guys, I was just wondering where you are going to be going when the time comes around to go Bass Fishing in the Spring in New Hampshire and also what you are going to be throwing? I'm going to go straight to Wickwas lake in Laconia where I've hooked up to a few big ones in the shallows. Cheers!
  6. Heading up to Newfound lake in Bristol nh for a Tourney this weekend, anyone fished there lately, or this time of year? kind of at a loss, Winni. Skunked me last weekend couldn't find the smallies this time of year. could anyone recommend some good spots up there?
  7. Does anyone know how much ice there is in the Concord, NH area yet on lakes/ponds? I want to do some ice fishing this weekend if possible.
  8. With the warmer temps this week I pulled my tracker out to prepare for some fishing. So are there any lakes and ponds without ice ? I am particulary interested in Kingston lake and Pawtuckaway Lake. Thanks everyone Steve
