    so I recently found 2 huge ponds in a neighborhood the water is very clear , up into about 5 feet out you can see to the bottom , I even seen bass swimming , these fish are real scared , what's a good way to fish these ponds ??

    okay so I just got signed up for a bass tournament on Gun Lake in Barry County. the tournament is May 17th I wanna say. I'm trying to get the edge over everyone else. I need tips, fishing locations, what to look for, who to talk to, absolutely ANYTHING that will give me an edge. much appreciated!

    I am technically a newbie, I have been fishing with my dad for years, but whenever we go we hardly catch fish. I am starting to go to small ponds and lakes around my area but haven't seen much success, not to surprising considering who taught me how to fish. I know the basics like what's what and all, but I was wondering what are the best starting hard baits? easiest soft plastics to use? and what is the best type of jig? Also if any one has tips for fishing ponds they would be appreciated as well.
