    This is my first foot control trolling motor, and out of the box it seems very stiff. I can see that a full day on the water would be like a long session of leg lifts! Would loosening the cable a bit with the Phillips head screw help, and how much can I safely loosen it. Also, can the pedal be greased with a lithium product? Thanks for your help Joe
