  1. This weekend me and some friends are coming from Virginia to Miami for a music festival, and while I have some free time I was going to do some fishing. I'm very experienced with inshore saltwater and bass fishing around VA, but what I'm hoping to catch in Florida is a peacock. I've looked into a few places like TY park and a few lakes around the house we're staying at, but if anyone has any suggestions on where to go that would help immensely. I'm trying to stay in the Hollywood area since I'm strapped for time, but would probably be able to venture out to Miami one morning if needed, any help would be appreciated. Tight lines
  2. Hey guys going this weekend to fish the Cutler drain canal system this Saturday, and me and my friend are launching off the boat ramp behind the falls mall. The water is super clear till about 10 feet, which will push me to sight fish. The only advice i have found is on the FWC sight which says for bass throw worms or sight fish and for peacocks fish with live bait. I've thrown square bill crank baits, rattle traps, and spinner baits and it looks like it scares them away. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks in advance thight lines everyone.
  3. I'm looking for some new spots to fish for largemouth. I fish for peacock every weekend but I'd like some spots like ponds for largemouth near the southeast area of Miami. And please don't say there are spots everywhere because if that were true for where i live i wouldn't asking this question. Thanks in advance
  4. Griffin road from University drive to Davie road. No activity and the water seemed very shallow. Fished it from 7 am - 11:30 am Skunked!
  5. Has anyone fished in the ponds they have there lately? My friends used to fish there and catch hawgs, but that was a few months ago and haven't heard of anything in a while. So anyone live there or something and have a fishing report?
  6. Okay guys, I was fishing tonight in one of the canals here around the fountainbleau,Doral area and I catch one on this. I don't know what kind of fish it was and the picture is pretty bad because i couldn't take a better picture before the line snap. I didn't want to grab it by the mouth because i didn't know what kind of fish it was. It took with him $8 rapala back to the water ( d**n it). Do you guys know what kind of fish is this? That's for the help
  7. I have always fished the c-100, c-4, and c-2 canals but lately I decided to try out the everglades for some bigger bass. The only place I know to go is the canal that runs down tamiami trail west of krome.(thats all I have access to bc I don't have a boat) I haven't had any luck yet and was wondering if you knew of any other bank access around this area thats any good.
