  1. I fish a great bank spot with a ton a largies, problem is there's A LOT of dead vegitation from after ice melt. I've caught bass in this spot by pitching a plastic, and occasionally throwing a spinnerbait where I can manage to squeeze one in. But honestly it's almost impossible to even fish a spinnerbait because the dead weed is so thick. I like pitching, but without a target to pitch to (the weeds are below surface for most of the spring), it can seem like a needle in a hay stack. Even pitching a creature bait or jig I pull in a ton of dead grass.. I can't pitch it out too far or it's very hard to get back to shore. What techniques should I consider to heighten my odds of cover a large area without a target to fish to.. I'm guess top water is a good way but what if they aren't hitting top water that day..? I know the fish are there because I do catch.. I just wanna catch more and be able to cover more water.. What should I consider? Thanks!
