    Taking a trip down to Lake Anna, VA in August for a week vacation. Trying to get a feel for the fishing on the warm side. I've heard mix things about the warm side so I don't really know what to expect here. IDK if it's worth just trying to fish the public side there at all.

    I am in the beginning process of looking into a property on Lake Anna Virginia. I've read a few posts about fishing the hot side of the lake during the winter that sound promising. My question is does it get too hot in the summer time? How is the fishing in the summer time on the hot side of the lake? I like to fish year round and the thought of fishing warmer water in the winter sounds good, but the public side of the Lake seems much larger with the added incentive of places to eat etc.

    Has anyone been on Lake Anna recently? I'm head out there this weekend and wanted to see what they were hittin' on. I plan on throwing some frogs in the pads by the Contrary Creek Bridge, but wanted to see if anyone else had some good spots to hit.
