  1. I have read many reviews on BPS's own website on the lack of durability on these rods. On the other hand, people on this very forum have endorsed this rod as a good casting rod to use overall. From what I gather it is a pretty great rod to use(sensitivity wise and just general use and weight), however, many had the rod break on them under regular circumstances such as during the hookset. What is the whole story of the durablity issues? (As I see this as a major blocking point from purchasing this rig)
  2. So this week bass pro is starting their spring classic sale... they are running a deal where if you buy the carbonlite reel you get the rod for free. This essentially saves $120, but on top of that if you trade in a reel you can the carbonlite reel for only 100 dollars. Does anybody have experience with the rod and reel and would you recommend it? There's not too much out there on the carbonlite 2.0 so I was just wondering if I'm getting a good deal here.
  3. Just as the title says, what reel would you pair with a 7' M/F Johnny Morris Carbonlite CL Trigger Rod?
  4. I am going to crankbait, jerkbait, shad rap on this new reel and I am going to put 10 or 12 # fluorocarbon on it. The plan is to get a reel around the $200 retail range cheaper on the "auction site". I have researched some and would love some opinions on these reels: 1) Lews tournament pro speed spool $148 (leaning toward this one) 2)Lews tournament MG speed spool $104 or 129 (retail) 3) Abu Garcia Revo Stx $153 4) Pflueger supreme XT $135 6) Johnny morris signature series $160
