    so tomorrow im fishing a local pond that I've never been to. I know it produces big fish from friends pictures. I've heard water clarity lately is around 2 ft. pretty weedy pond with not a whole lot of down trees or lily pads from what ive been told. What other lures should I try? im new to bass fishing and still unsure about a lot. im thinking about trying out a jig and pig , spinner bait/chatterbait , and lipless cranks, sankos while im there. I just picked up some robo worms to try out also. Its been about 105-110 every day if that makes a difference to you guys.

    Non-Pro Tournament anglers, How do you decide which tournaments you will attend in any given year? Besides location (obviously a Texas tournament has little appeal to a Florida angler), what are the factors that help you decide whether a series is worth your time and effort? Is it the payout amount, the competition or lack of competition, the format, the schedule, the Tournament director, how well things are organized, the accolades that come with winning? Any input is helpful and greatly appreciated!

    Everyone, Looking at buying a new setup to focus on chatter-baits, spinner-baits and topwater action (Mainly buzz-baits and Pop-Rs) From reading St-Croix website the MBC70MHF Spinnerbait 7' MH Fast, looks to be my best bet, however any other recommendations in the same price range? Going with a Shimano Chronarch 200E Series Casting Reel 6.5:1 and a MBC70MHF Spinnerbait 7' MH Fast, what you think?
