  1. Caught this bass in a pond really close to the ocean and it is really weird. It had a strange pattern and really bumpy scales. The teeth were also abnormally sharp, I’m guessing from eating mostly bait fish. I have caught others like this one too. If anyone knows what is causing this bass to be like this or have caught one similar I would be happy to know.
  2. Caught on the Chattahoochee River, Georgia. FISH ID? Have been debating with friends... is it a shoal bass or smallie?
  3. Hi! This fish is from southern Ontario, possibly a Golden Shiner. I need help identifying it but I’m stuck! Would any of you fish experts know? It’s a cold water fish!
  4. My fiancée snagged this underwater and I was eventually able to work it in after snagging the whole mess (her terminal tackle plus this lure and the 20ft+ of line attached to it that was caught on a partially submerged tree) with heavier gear. Much cleaning later and I have this. It floats when idle, rattles, and the main body is approximately 2 1/2 inches(6cm). It has a fairly detailed scale texture on the sides, but not the spine or belly. Thank you all in advance for your input.
  5. I caught these fish a few months ago on an offshore charter. I'm pretty sure i'm right about what they are but i want to make sure so here they are: White Grunt? Red Snapper?
  6. I caught this In the Indian River (a saltwater river system in florida) today. I asked around and no one knew what it was. It seems like a type of goby but other than that i have no idea. It was 11 inches long and i caught it on live shrimp. It had small teeth and basically seemed like an eel as it slithered out of my hands a couple times. Please ID.
