  1. I broke my frog rod a few days ago when I put the dreaded high stick maneuver on a 5 pound largemouth while bank fishing. I’ve been scouring the Internet for a replacement, but I’m having trouble deciding. I was using a 13 Fishing Fate Black (the lime green). 7’4” Heavy/Fast. Would like to maybe go a couple inches shorter, but definitely don’t want anything over 7’4”. Price range is around $150 but might possibly consider spending a little more bc I throw frogs a lot. My top choice right now is the Dobyns FR735C or the 734C. Haven’t used a Dobyns before, but I’ve heard nothing but good things.
  2. Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving! Posted a video where I go over 5 Must Have Rods for Bass Fishing. Hope you like it...let me know what you all think! Thanks for watching! JN
  3. Looking at a custom frog rod that can either be 7' or 7'6" for a great price and opportunity. What would you guys lean towards? Really hoping to also throw some A rigs and larger swimbaits so the 7'6 looks good but it's rated for 1/2- 1 1/2 so might not toss a frog well and the extra length might make walking frogs uncomfortable. What rod would be more suited to the frog and what would be most versatile? Thanks!
  4. Hello I am new to this forum I recently started fishing about and love frog fishing I picked up a new lew super duty 7:1:1 reel and need to get a pole I would like it to be 7ft and suggestions would be great thanks
  5. Hi all, I currently use a 6 ft Berkley Lighting Shock Series Trigger Rod for my frogging rod. I was thinking of upgrading the rod in the price range of $100-$200. Any recommendations? I usually fish heavy lily pad areas (Tropical Park for those who live in Miami). Other details: Bait: mostly Hallow Body Frogs Fishing Location: From the bank Current Reel: Shimano CI4 Bait Caster 7:6 Ratio My other option would be to just upgrade my current rod to a 7ft Any advice is welcome. Thanks all!
  6. I'm lookin at the cashion 7'6 hvy frog rod. I have never held one in my hand but what I see in the reviews is good, lightweight and can cast a hollow frog extremely far. I fish from land so some places I fish I need to get some serious distance. Any other suggestions?
  7. I am looking to where I can buy a new Dean Rojas Tour Edition PT Signature Seris Rod. (Model PCT706FDR) Thank you.
