    Hey BassResource! My tackle is pretty limited and I've been concentrating on jig fishing mostly. Wanted to try some different jigs in different colors and sizes. All I've throwing are the Strike King Bitsy Bugs in 1/4 oz (they were a $1 each at Wally World a couple weeks ago so I picked up a bunch of different colors. Came across Toad Candy on Facebook. Looks like very nice, quality jigs. Anyone have any experience with them? Or are there any others I should be looking into?

    Hey all. I am looking for a very specific design of football jig head. I used to use the one from Outkast Tackle in Duluth, MN, but it seems they no longer make them. I am looking for an alternative. Here is what I am looking for: Must have: - Recessed eye - Eye parallel with hook shaft - Regular round bend hook - Relatively skinny keeper - Single lead barbed keeper Must NOT have: - Weed guard - Huge encircling collar keeper - Skinny wire keeper - Swing-head - Flat spot on the bottom (must be completely rounded) - Skirt Does anyone know of another football head that fits this description? Another option I am exploring is making the jig heads myself, but I cannot find the perfect solution. The best mold I have found is the Do-It FBB-4T-ASU, but it takes Trokar hooks which I absolutely do not want to use. It is hard to find info on whether or not any other hooks are compatible with this mold as well. I know I am being very specific, but I really appreciate any information that points me in the right direction. Thanks!

    I am have started making my own custom jigs, (I have some really nice patterns) but I'm looking to get a fairly cheap jig mold. I don't need one with 20 slots. I have been looking at the ones sold at BPS, but I'm wondering if I might find one cheaper. Also, what would you guys bet there is more of a market for in terms of jig head style. I figured Arkie heads and football heads would be the most popular but I am eager for your opinion. I wouldn't mind any info on small lead melting pots and where I might find them. (I have been swimming through Ebay and have also read reviews for the Palmer hot pot 2.)

    I am about to change over to the owner 5304 for my brush jigs, I really like the looks of that hook and I have read nothing but good things about them on this forum. I have a football mold that will accept this straight eye hook. My question is, I have never thrown a football jig with this straight eye before. Is there any difference in presentation or how the bait feels because of the straight eye versus the flat.

    Does the Trokar football jig mold only take Trokar hooks? Or will the mold accept other ones? Like Mustad?
