    I was wondering if there were any guaranteed boaters in the Michigan series willing to help out a Co for the year? I was hoping to move up to the next level of tournament fishing but not much really going on locally for me so I thought I would like to try the BFL. I am already paid for the Burt Mullet tournament but am on the waiting list and would like to be sure I am in before committing to hotel and time off as it is a 4.5hr drive for me.     The next FLW tour event is coming to my home lake (Lake Lanier) next weekend. I've never attended a bass tournament before, so I'm looking for some advice on how best to go about it. Be there early for launch? I assume Weigh-in is the prime time to be there. What happens at the venue in between? I'll be there on Friday (Day 2). Seems like that would be a good day to meet the most anglers before the cut. Do I need to buy a ticket in advance? All advice appreciated. Thanks!

    There was a US National Team for bass fishing assembled of both FLW and BASS pros. The team members are Scott Martin, David Dudley, Mark Rose, David Fritts, Fred Roumbanis, James Watson, Scott Canterbury, and Lionel Botha. They have hopes of one day making bass fishing an Olympic sport as they will be traveling to South Africa to fish in a tournament against other countries. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think bass fishing has a shot at becoming an Olympic sport?

    Posted for Tennessee Valley Bass Club Admin: Long lived active, Tennessee Valley Bass Club in Paris, TN is more active, still has lowest annual/Entry Fee, Well Maintained & Certified Bass Club in Henry County, FLW & TBF registered, regular Pre-Scheduled Tournaments (posted on website at www.Tennesseevalleybassclub.org) and they are accepting applications for new members now! Bring a buddy if you like to one of our meetings every 2nd Thursday of each month with the club members and ask any questions you have. This Bass club has been alive for over 20 years with a few of the Veterans who started it all up! The first tournament is both on March 28 & 29th, 2015, to accommodate to those who can't fish one of the weekend days (which gives you the option to still fish and events total weight and Official standing is set immediately on Sunday after the weigh in for Sundays is calculated and then both days are calculated for both Saturday and Sundays) BLASTING OUT AT DAWNS LIGHT out of Paris Landing Marina for our first tournament of the year. Top 6 Anglers for year will go to the State Tournament for TBF the following year for a spot on the FLW Pro Team!! It's not too late to join in but you got to get that application to us and bring it to one of the meeting. We always have our meetings at Aces Steak and Pizza in Paris, TN and they start at 7:00p.m. Hope to see ya there soon!!

    So, I was watching the "live" coverage of the FLW Lake Cumberland Tournament and Scott Martin was using what he called a "Weight-Bait" it looked like a top water jerk bait that he slowly cranked. The movement was as if it swam from side to side. I did a little digging on google and here and could not find a "weight-bait". Does anyone know what else this lure is called.

    Hello! I am currently 20th on the BFL FLW waiting list for the tournament May 2nd on Kerr Lake. Are there any boaters that are doing this tournament that I could sign up with? Do you think if I don't have a boater I will still have a chance?

    Hey guys, Does anyone know anything about Lake Seminole? I fish the college series and we have a FLW College Series Qualifier coming up on Lake Seminole on Mar. 24th out of Bainbridge, GA. Any advice will help. I've never been to or see the lake! Thanks, Ryan
