  1. I wanted to buy Mega spool of Seaguar Fluorocarbon and I wonder if it has shelf life, so I need to buy smaller spool, if not ill buy biggest spool.
  2. Hey BR, Quick video on how I store and spool spare fishing line in my boat. Thanks, James N
  3. I'm sort of new to bass fishing, I bought a few reels, I fish a lot of soft plastic and the guy recommended 12lbs trilene big game, i assumed it was fluorocarbon but found out I was mistaken about a month later. This is my education so far on fishing line... fluorocarbon sinks, and it's practically invisible, monofilament floats. (I'm comfortable with my knowledge on braided line) That's all I know. The info I need: - Crankbaits - mono or fluro, what lbs test? -spinnerbait/chatterbait - mono or fluro, what lbs test? - Texas rigs and jigs - mono or fluro, what lbs test?
  4. For lack of better words, can someone please explain Line Capacity/Test as if you were teaching a child! I've read many posts on the subject but there's so much fisherman jargon and technical terms that I'm a tad confused. I'm new to fishing in regards to finally purchasing my own tackle, rather then just showing up to the lake/ocean and fishing with a buddy's gear. As an example, I got an amazing deal on a few highend rods and one of the reels I purchased new and nearly free, was a Chronarch 200e7. The specs on the box read: Nylon Mono / lb. (yds.) -- 8(180) • 10(155) • 14(110) PowerPro Braided -- 30(190) • 50(120) • 65(80) Nylon Mono -- 8(180) • 10(155) • 14(110) Fil Tresse PowerPro -- 30(190) • 50(120) • 65(80) Lol, I'm so confused! Help, please! I'm looking to purchase a Mono, Braided, and Fluorocarbon Line but I don't know what I'm suppose to purchase for this particular reel or the others for that matter.
  5. I HAD THE BIGGEST NASTIEST BACKLASH EVER TODAY. I HAD MY REEL SPOOLED UP WITH BPS XPS FLUOROCARBON 12LB TEST. ITS MY SHALLOW TO MEDIUM CRANKING REEL. DIDNT WANT TO GO GET A NEW SPOOL OF XPS AT BASS PRO SO I WENT TO MY LOCAL WALMART. I WAS GONNA GET VICIOUS FISHING 100% FLUOROCARBON IN 12LB TEST BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE IT. THEY USUALLY DO BUT OH WELL. MY ONLY OPTION WAS THE BERKLEY VANISH. I GOT IT IN 14LB TEST JUST TO BE SAFE. I DONT WANT MY LURES SNAPPING OFF WHEN I CAST. WHAT DO YALL THINK OF THIS LINE???
