  1. I am currently looking into a fishing tackle business. My main idea is to sell baits, tackle, and gear. For this I would like to know how to start and how to create my own fishing tackle. "Sort of like how googan squad made their own tackle and gear” Three things I want to know is. 1. Pricing for this shop (online shop with a warehouse) 2. Price to copy right/trademark my own logo 3. How to set all this up If anyone could help with ideas this would be great!
  2. I'm curious what everyone's general purchase preference when buying fishing tackle. For me, about 70% online. Not only for fishing tackle, i buy most things online.
  3. Can someone identify the this lure ? it does have a broken Lip (driver 4 to 5 ft.)
  4. Early this month I decided to buy a new casting reel. After a few days of looking around I decided to buy a lews reel. A short time later I decided to buy Team Lews Custom Pro Speed Spool slp. All I can say is this reel is amazing. Its super lite, very well built, extremely easy to tune and will cast far. The way the reel sits on pole makes it easy handle not to mention comfortable. The 4 pin 27 position centrifugal breaks are by far the best breaking system I ever used. This reel is also moderately priced at $260 dollars. The reel is a one piece aluminum frame with carbon sideplates and handle. It also uses airplane grade materials. This reel is partically impossible to backlash if tuned properly. With this reel you will be able to cast really far with ease. Few days ago i went to a FOOTBALL FIELD to see how far I can cast. I decided to bring 3 lures with me. I did 5 cast for each lure. First lure was a 6 gram or .21 oz blue fox spinner. I was able to cast 44.4 to 47.7 yards. Next was a 10gram or .35 oz rooster tail. I was able to cast 53.8 to 57.1yards. Finally i tried something really light. A 4 gram or .14 oz blue fox spinner I was able to cast that 30.2 to 33.9 yards. These distances were measured the real way, the accurate way in a football field with yard markers. My conclusion is if your looking for a reel that's well built, very low profile, cast a mile, feels great in hand and impossible to backlash if set rite then get this reel. You will not be dissapointed at all its simple amazing and it only cost $ 260 dollars which isn't that much for a casting reel.
  5. Hello all, I'm a college student at NC State University studying industrial design. For a project, I'm redesigning a tackle box. One of the ideas I'm exploring is to have a smaller pouch or box that you could clip onto your belt, which would carry a couple lures and hooks, in case you were going out and didn't want to take your whole tackle box with you. From your experiences, would you find this useful, or are there other aspects of tackle boxes that need redesigning? Thanks! Andrew
