    So whenever I Texas Rig my senko I use a Gamakatsu EWG worm hook. But recently I have been wacky rigging with o-rings and I was wondering if there is a difference between using a wacky hook such as the owner wacky rig hook or if the EWG hook I am using is fine. As of right now I'm still catching a lot of bass on the EWG hook wacky rigger. It does look a little odd and big but it hasn't been failing me. Is there a specific reason to use the wacky hooks when wacky rigging? Like does using a EWG hook affect the action as compared to a wacky hook. And also is there a difference in using weedless vs non-weedless because I have heard that weedless hooks don't help much anyway.

    what do you think's best, using an ewg hook when rigging super flukes or an offset round bend? Personally I like the fact that the bait looks more uniform with an offset round bend but fear that the hook-up ratio will be better with an ewg. what do you think?

    Hi All: I need some help. I was wondering what everyones favorite weighted hooks are and how they use them? I currently fish berkley power worms, senkos, havoc pit boss, havoc craw fattys, and paca craws..would like to start using hollow body swimbaits as well. Whenever I use standard texas rig my bullet weight is getting hung up on almost every cast..looking for alternative rig. Wondering what size weighted hook people use, how the use them and what type they use. I see Gamakatsu makes an EWG weighted hook and also Mike Iconelli has one as well that looks pretty cool. Thanks for the help
