  1. For those of you that fish the Everglades, what is your biggest bass? What baits have worked for you? I have recently had success with a black and blue jig with a blue laminate rage craw.
  2. Hey guys so I have a question, im taking someone fishing this weekend into the everglades off of Tamiami trail. Ive gone twice this past month and caught a couple off of live bait. I tried this spot and the saw 2 huge bass and pitched shiners and they wouldnt hit. i then threw a zoom trick worm in black and also in junebug i also threw a berkley craw fatty in watermelon and nothing. Any ideas what these bass will bite this time of year? Any advice will be really helpful guys, Thanks and tight lines.
  3. Hi everyone, I'm new to Bass Resource and I was hoping I could get some help deciding what lures to use for a new fishing location. I'm a college student back home in South Florida for the summer. I fish a lot, but I primarily fish from the shore along ponds, lakes, and of course canals. I'm planning a trip with my friends to go fishing at Holiday Park. We're going to rent a john boat and go out early in the morning. From what I know about the park, it's easiest to fish in the canals between the sawgrass and cattails (especially on the first trip there; I don't want to get lost). I'm sure most lures will work well, but I was looking to see if anyone can suggest what they believe the BEST lures would be to fish along the sawgrass. Or if anyone knows anything about the park and any strategies there, any input would be very helpful. Thanks!! Tommy
  4. I was driving thru Tamiami trail / 8 st last Saturday ,when I passed the Miccosukee Casino I saw some people fishing the canal on the right (Going from Miami to Naples). I'm thinking that I would try to fish there for Large mouths tomorrow. I want to get some opinions on the fishing there, Is any good? Safety? I'm new to the area ( i lived in the fontainebleau area) and any help will be much appreciated.
  5. Today I decided to go out and fish my usual spot out in the everglades. Its been really bad lately so I decided to venture out and see if there was anything else around. I found this some canal across the street and I fished it for about an hour and all I got was a snakehead (don't worry I killed it.) I was wondering if anyone has ever fishing it and what kind of results have they had. Here is the link 25.760745, -80.673761 Let me know and also any recommendations of anything in the area. Thanks
  6. I have always fished the c-100, c-4, and c-2 canals but lately I decided to try out the everglades for some bigger bass. The only place I know to go is the canal that runs down tamiami trail west of krome.(thats all I have access to bc I don't have a boat) I haven't had any luck yet and was wondering if you knew of any other bank access around this area thats any good.
