  1. Hi I am Englishman new to this site and Bass Fishing. This June I started fishing with bobber and crawlers catching Sunfish mainly and the odd small bass, I quickly decided to upgrade and pursue the bass. To cut a long story short I bought a load of Daiwa BG spinning reels in various sizes and coupled up with G Loomis and St Croix baitcaster of various types, I had only used spinning reels in England as we only use multiplier reels for deep sea over there. Now it turns out this is a mortal sin and my rods will likely break if I get a biggie on, and my casting is never going to be what it should, I had no idea what that trigger thing was for and just ignored it. ps I have caught quite a few bass but only up to ~2lb. What should I do??
