  1. I recently opted to add a 8mm facceted bead to my Texas rig again, after a few years of not using one. In throwing roboworm 41/2 worms 1/0 straight shank hook, along with zoom trick worms. The lakes I fish are clear, old quarry lakes. This morning caught 4 decent bass on this rig. Now, In going to keep a rod rigged this way. In fishing it with a light shake when the worm hits bottom, followed by slow lift and drag retrieve. This is a great way to fish. Now I'm doing it again after getting away from it for a while.Anyone else still using beads on a Texas rig, or has this gone out of style now? If so , do you peg the weight or bead, or let them slide freely on the line. Working good for me
