  1. So I got this awesome Phenix Rod for light casting on kelp paddies for dorado and bass in ocean,I paired that with Lexa 500 and I was very happy with the combo that I can use for heavy Swimbait fishing on freshwater bass and also for saltwater trips. But when I start to use it I found out how difficualt is casting with the rod. Each cast I need to put extra pressure to keep the rod from ending up in the water. A simple trigger is missing and made my day on water so hard, especially for someone like me, I need to be able to do 500 plus cast in few hours. Anyways make story short, I got to work, Sent an email to phenix rod customer support and received nothing. So I found a product for bikers to rest their finger on and purchased that. It is awesome, But I need to glue and weld it to the rod. It is metal but not steel and the other side is plastic Fuji reel seat. Now tell me what is the best product to glue the hell of it and make sure it can handle the pressure. If the reel seat was aluminum, I would weld the ring, But if I apply heat I will damage the reel seat. Sorry for trypos and grammar in advance, I do multiple job at once Please see the pictures to get a better idea what I want to do.
