  1. So went and got a new carrot stix for big worm a 7'6 H fast. Passed up a Duckett and a few others in the same price range. Got a deal on it in return give shop owner feed back on the "new and improved" rods. Fished first day for 45 min since it was getting dark no issues. Next day hooked up on a shallow 8.5 lbs large mouth running a strike King bleeding shad spinnerbait with white trailer. Checked knot and line for knicks casted out on retrieve heard a weird noise. Sounded like I reeled up a peg. Eye insert had popped out. Anyone else have this issue? Is it common for carrot stix to do this. Next time bite the bullet buy a better rod and tell the wife it was on sale.
