  1. anyone here have an opinion on carbon framed bait casters i am thinking about getting the Lews custom XP bait caster but then realized it has a carbon frame. I have heard bad things about carbon reels and have been told that aluminum is better what is ya'lls opinion.
  2. Hi everyone. I just installed my Minn Kota Ultrex today and I have one major question. Where do I mount the heading sensor? The heading sensor allows the motor to do everything gps related. I just don't know where to mount it. It says in the manual that you cannot mount it near metal or magnetic object. Can you mount the sensor next to a lowrance carbon I have up on the bow? I didn't know if that would cause any interference. The spot next to the carbon on the bow would be the best spot, but I don't want the sensor to be less effective because it's next to a fish finder. Any suggestions?
