This summer I took a kid fishing and he accidentally stepped on the second guide on my lightning rod shock. I'm wondering if there is a way to fix it that is worth it, since lightning rods are only about 50 bucks a piece. the guide snapped right above where the support meets the actual guide (circle, not sure what it's called). Anyway, it would require the complete replacement of that guide. Is there a way I can do it cheaply, or am I better off just scrapping the rod?
