  1. How do you guys cut the legs on your frogs? Very short or leave them long? And what are the benefits of long or short legs?
  2. Got out at daybreak today. Lake was slick calm. Pulled out the booyah on my froggin rig. Nothing for 1/2 hr. I turned my head, and when I looked there had been a relatively small blow- up with no noise. Very subtle . As I pulled up to check I felt pressure moving to the right and then realized it was a heavy fish. Fish never tried to jump .It weighed 7.3 pounds. Other than the big fish,I caught 5 more on various worms. One was really cool because I caught it on a late 70s vintage 6 inch grape Mann's jelly worm. Day sha vu!!!
  3. Does any body notice a difference between the old and new one knocker?
  4. So I was fishing today with my booyah pad crasher in sun burnt color and I lost it and need to replace it. So I'm looking at one of three brands, another booyah pad crasher (did well before but on a lot of bites it seemed like the fish didn't commit), the strike King KVD frog, or a live target frog. Any advice and opinions?
  5. Went to my local DSG and saw they were selling any sized booyah frogs for $4 and any Jawbone frog for $2. I got the booyah pad crasher in black and yellow for the black belly. but the Jawbones have plain white bottoms.. id like to sharpie on some patterns like my spro has on the bottom. Does anyone else do this? Won't the spots on the bottom help catch fish? Thanks (From left to right: booyah black, spro natural green, jawbone chartruse [top right], Jawbone green [bottom right] )
  6. What is the best swimbait? Never fished swimbaits before, looking for one in bluegill or other sunfish colors, perch too. How do you rig these swimbaits too? Saw a video of these guys fishing them and it briefly showed them screwing it in to the hook. You cant rig these like a soft plastic? any reccomendations?
  7. My academy has this spinnerbait for a $1.50 just fyi
  8. Hey guys, I am new to hollow body frog fishing. I have been researching different hollow body frogs and have narrowed it down to two options. I would get livetarget frogs, I just don't like their all natural color selection. I am not crazy about getting spros because of hearing of bad hookups and water coming into the frog. Deps are too expensive for me, and the jackall iobee frogs don't seem to be all that good. Maybe snag proof Bobby's perfect frogs would work well. I already use Stanley ribbit frogs as my soft bodied frogs and rebel frog-r's as my hard bodied frogs. I love both of them. I need some advice on whether to get some Snag Proof Ish's Phat Frogs, or to get some Booyah Pad Crashers. What have you guys used, what are your opinions?
