  1. I need a BFS reel to dabble and use to R&D bfs rods. I have a couple never used scorpions and thinking of putting a spool in one of them. The only readily available option I’ve seen is the Avail Aldebaran/chronarch50e/core mg7 spool. For those initiated in bfs, is this a good option? Would I be better off in the long run to pick up a current Curado or Tatula bfs model?
  2. Hello guys, this couple weeks I had a fried from Japan visited me and I got new disease from him, Called BFS fishing specially for trout and panfish(ive seen 16lb carp was caught on same set up). so first going to show you this YouTube video, thats the set up I got and waiting to arrive here. once here, I am going to hit the road, trout fishing in streams in morning and bass fishing in night. I am very exited about this and going to update you guys. Please let me know any suggestion you have.
  3. Today I got to little pond near home practicing casting distance with my favorite BFS combo, they had stocked trout there last week and I was hoping I might catch some trout as well. I was using 1/32oz (trout magnet jighead with 1.5" paddle tail), I catch a fish and it was a large mouth, Since it was trout season I really didn't try bass fishing except using 10" plus swim baits and glide baits, But this time I catch my first bass of the year.
