  1. I catch two big 2-4lb bass out of a cove & didn't have my scale. I put them on the stringer, took them to my boat dsock, got a scale and weighed them. After I eased them back into the water and they swam off. My question is every time I go back now, I only catch Baby bass if Get any bites. So.... did I mess up that spot by taking them away from that cove? Can the smaller fish survive? Can the big fish find there way back to there bed? Probably a silly question but I wanted to know none the less.
  2. Hey Guys and Gals, I was out fishing the last few days and saw something I haven't seen before. I have a good idea of the patterns of bass when they spawn. I live in central Indiana and the spawn has just started really. While I was out bed fishing at my local ponds, I saw something weird that I personally haven't ever seen before. While working on a bed fish, I would notice that the fish would leave the bed for a minute or so and go into the grass line. Which in my eyes is normal. The thing that was weird was the same fish would go to multiple beds and stay there for a few minutes then head off to another bed. Has anyone ever heard of bass having more than one bed? If you have any ideas on why they would do this please let me know, i'm curious.
  3. So after 5 years of complaining of backaches due to 15 year old mattress and no remedy my wife starts complaining about her back hurting in the morning. We have a mattress that you cannot flip but I did it anyway and both our backs felt better. So....., because wife gets a backache for a few weeks we are getting a new Leesa Mattress. I've been complaining for years to get a new one!! I guess the saying is true.... happy wife happy life?
  4. I'm fishing a lake this weekend that has a bunch of old road beds and sunken bridges. Most of these roads and bridges are in 10-20' of water. Being that they're not that deep, I'm guessing that it leaves cranking them as an option. Obviously I have quite a few other spots on the lake that I want to hit, but if the bite is tough, these submerged bridges could be the ticket to a check. I've never really fished submerged bridges before, so I'm curious how some of you guys would approach these? Fish should be post spawn and the water should be around ~70*. I'm a big fan of cranking, but if I'm going to get hung up and spook everything down there, then I would probably be best to jig or dropshot (I'm guessing). Whats your take on this?
