Just got my first bait caster reel. I can reel in the line when there is no fish on but reel will not take on line even if the drag is adjusted tightly and there is any weight on the line. Advice please!
Okay I got reccomended the Laguna Baitcaster reel for my 7ft medium baitcaster rod. But I am looking at the Aird reel too. I can get both for $99 here in Australia. What have you guys had experience with and which do you recommend? What's the main difference between the Aird and Laguna apart from the number of bearings?
