  1. So i just started painting crank baits, i bought a cheaper Master airbrush kit from Amazon. I've been trying to paint and can do so, but it takes the paint forever to come out of the gun. I have thinned the paint already, hoping that would help but maybe i haven't thinned it enough? I have been thinning with water only to save money, is there something else i need to add to the water? Here is the kit i bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BF0MW9G/ref=asc_df_B00BF0MW9G5255309/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395033&creativeASIN=B00BF0MW9G&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198071540295&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2164691969427926008&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9041403&hvtargid=pla-318190335306
  2. I am a novice lure painter, (mostly using airbrush) and i have used some of the chrome paint colors, but nothing that actually reflects light anything similar to a chrome lure one would buy at the store. I would really like to get a chrome lipless crank for the beginning of the season. Any advice/experience would be appreciated.
  3. Hello everyone! So I recently got interested in painting lures, where I have in the past painted cars and aircrafts...this is something different! In Wisconsin we have little to do but go fishing, so it only made sense to start painting my own. Now unfortunately at the time these images were taken (this weekend) I was still waiting on black paint along with other stuff. so i couldn't really get too crazy. But I wanted to showcase them here for some feedback. I am not looking to sell anything or ever make money on them. it's just for fun! http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/gallery/sizes/14704-first-lure/large/ http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/gallery/sizes/14703-first-crankbait/large/
  4. Do i need to have a clear coat after im done airbrushing my spinner blades?
  5. Whats a good airbrush coat that would stick to metal?
  6. I know they're not the greatest paint jobs out there, especially compared to some of the ones ive seen on here, but I'm pretty proud of 'em and so I thought I'd share. let me know what you think!
