I need a new reel and was set to grab a Revo Premier, and now the Z200 is at the same price point. I had never seriously looked at the Z200 at or near the MSRP. But, now I am forced to make a comparison between the two. As how I fish, well, I am all over the spectrum. I guess mostly I fish small ponds and smallish rivers/creeks, but a few times a year I do hit the delta, and Berryessa/Clear Lake. I do a fair amount of traveling, mostly to North Texas and split my time between Fork, Ray Roberts, and a Private lake while I am there. I have mainly been a shimano guy in the past, though I own a couple of quantum spinners.
Does anyone with experience with one, or even better, both of these care to weigh in? Or do I just say screw it and get a T3 and T3 Ballistic. 1st world problems..........
Anyway, thoughts would be appreciated.
