  1. OK, so I have a question: Seeing that I fish from shore and do not want to be loaded down with multiple rods can I use a snap for all lures to make changes easy and fast? I think I know the answer to this but would like some input. I currently carry 2 rods with me at all times and really do not want to have to start carry more. Thanks for any comments.
  2. Anyone have any experience with Fenwick's customer service? I love their rods and my whole arsenal is Daiwa reels and Fenwick rods. Was out fishing with my dad earlier this week and he stepped on and bent my 7'6" HMX punching rod's eyelet. I slowly and carefully bent the eyelet back straight and the resin cracked. The eyelet is now straight but the resin holding it to the rod has a fracture in it. The rod is fine but after all, it is my punching/frog rod that sees the most abuse and I would really like to get it fixed/replaced. Does anyone have any experience with Fenwick's customer service? I bought the rod from Gander Mountain only a few months ago and have the receipt.
  3. I don't like to use split rings to connect line to crankbaits. I've been using Speed Clips, but I've just bought some Fastach clips. Which are better, does anybody have a preference (and why)?
  4. What does everyone think of using snaps to quickly switch crankbaits out? There are pros and cons. Some of the cons would be that they could open/bend, and it's just one more thing between you and the fish. Also, some claim that it limits the action of the crankbait. A pro is that you can switch crankbaits out very efficiently, without having to constantly retie. Just looking to get the opinions of those who have used snaps similar to these: http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-FastLock-Bass-Snap/product/7816/ Thanks guys!
  5. Alright so I was strolling through the fishing isle at Wal-mart and had an idea. The barrel swivel with the interlock snaps could save a lot of precious fishing time by diminishing the need to retie on lures every time you want to change. But then there's also the scary possibility that it could scare off that smart, picky bass because of the extra metal you add with it... What are your thoughts?
