    Last year I bought a Quantum PT Smoke SL151Spt reel.I must say I have been very pleased with it,until now.Last week after catching the first two fish(small bass)my Ned rig got snagged on a rock.I gave it the usual pop to get it out,and I got a poop not a pop.I tightened the drag wheel a little and nothing.I would say fully cranked it isn't even one pound of drag.I may be close to the end of the 1 year warranty,so may have to pay to have it fixed.I thought about trying it myself but it looks like too many small parts for these old eyes and fingers. Anyone with experience dealing with Quantum CS,I would like your input. Thanks

    Hey everyone, I'm just getting back into the tournament scene this year. Recently moved to ohio and will be fishing the ABA ohio division. So I'm looking for some suggestions on my rod and reel pairings, I know everything I have isn't ideal, I really need some slower reels but it's what iv got and what I will be working with so here's what I have. Baitcasters: Quantum Smoke 7.0:1 Concept A 8.1:1 Lews laser pro msb 7.1:1 Casting rods: Fenwick elite tech 7' medium fast GSX Elite 7'2" med heavy ??action Lews Custom Lite 7' med heavy fast Spinning reels: Shimano Symetre 2500fl Shimano solstice 2500 Spinning Rods: G-Loomis Drop Shot 6'10" mag-med ex-fast BPS tourney Special 6' med Fast Also wondering what line you would pair with each set-up. Thanks in advanced for the suggestions!

    I'm in the market for a new addition to the lineup (aren't we all?). I own multiple 7' mediums, and this is my go-to choice for just about anything.. I'm looking to add a 7'4" or 7'6" medium or medium-light.. Any advice on which rod? I own a 7' smoke already and its a perfect all-around rod. Also own a Mojo, and feel the 7' medium is an absolute brute. Strongest backbone I've fished with a medium power. I've narrowed my choices down to the smoke, vendetta, escalade, mojo, and the fenwick elite tech smallmouth rod.. Will be used primarily for large and smallmouth, steelhead, cats, and walleye. Anyone fished with any of these rods with that length and power?

    What are your thoughts concerning Quantum Spinning reels? I am getting more into Finesse fishing and am looking at upgrading my spinning tackle. Looking for something light weight.

    So I got a coupon offer from quantum for 40% off any reel and 50% off any rod. I need a 7'2" - 7'6" Heavy action rod to use as a swimbait/frog/flipping rod and reel combo.(A 7'6" H x-fast action Exo will only run me $89 so I pretty much have to do it.) I'm partial to Powell rods and don't have any experience with the Quantum Exo or Smoke rods. I assume the Exo is a better rod because it's more expensive? Does anyone have experience with either the smokes or Exo rods such as how fast the tips are, sensitivity, accurate power rating? I will also be getting a new reel and I don't know what to get Smoke/Exo. I own a smoke 151Hpt and like it but kinda wanna try an exo. However, they only have the exo100 series in stock for lefties. Is the spool capacity the only difference between the Exo 300,200,and 100 series?

    Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has used the Quantum Kinetic reel? They are offered for good prices online, but I can't find many reviews on them. My girlfriend was going to buy me one for Valentine's Day but asked me first what I thought. Any thoughts?

    I'm thinking about pairing up either a quantum exo or a smoke with a mojo bass 7' mh by st croix. These are within range of my spending limit. If anyone has any feedback on my dilemma that would be cool.
