  1. The water I frequent has shot up from mid-40s to mid-60s and pushing on towards 70 in a matter of 2-3 weeks. My pre-spawn planned patterns would shot when I noticed this water temp and the only thing I got bit by was a 3lb bowfin.
  2. I recently found a new pond to fish. Decent sized, but it doesn't have much visible cover or structure. There are some pockets of grass near the shoreline, and a few points and flats. I have been fishing there twice with no luck. I know there are bass there (some of decent size), but I can't get them to bite. The weather is just starting to warm here, and I've thrown everything from jerkbaits to weightless worms at them. Any advice?
