  1. Does anyone have any suggestions for night fishing at allatoona without a boat?
  2. Hey everyone, I have been really getting into nighttime bass fishing in southwest Florida. Ive been doing well on smaller lures especially twin tailed grubs. But now that the weather has dipped to the 50s at night and mid 70s in the day. If anyone here has been fishing for bass after 9pm, what has been the key to your success? Lure colors? Types of lures etc. However, I have used the midnight bass spinner bait with no luck. Im starting to feel that bass are not that active at night from what most people think they do. Ill wake up and look at the water, then again around 3 or 4 pm and bass will be swimming on the shore on the bank on an 85 degree morning. Id be interested to see what has worked for you all at night in Florida.
  3. What might be the best choices in lighting for pier or dock for night fishing. Perhaps an overhead that would illuminate the water. Hopefully something every-efficient and long-lasting.
  4. I'm going night fishing in a private pond with moderate to heavy weed coverage, and I was wondering what crankbaits work the best. Also, the pond is moderately clear with some brown taint. I'm looking for details like color, bill, and depth (the pond ranges from a few feet to 12+). I'm assuming that crankbaits are still a realistic lure to use at night, but if not what hard lures (if any) work at night?
  5. I see a lot of posts about fishing during the day and early morning hours but how do you guys approach night fishing? Do you use a lantern, headlamp or do you have cat-like vision(lol)? What lures do you use and do you still target the same areas you would throughout the day? How do you keep the bugs away and what do you wear if it's especially humid?
  6. I've read that a few of you swear by fishing at night, what do you guys use? I fish mostly ponds and can never manage to get good numbers at night. Do I go slow? Loud? Bright? Any help would be great. Thanks!
  7. What is you favorite lure for night fishing?
  8. Went out to fish at night last night and tonight and got skunked both times. Both nights were about 85 degrees. Tonight was quite windy. Fishing the quarry lake. I threw big colorado blade spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, Both black and white. Big 9 inch ribbontail worms, some shallow and medium diving cranks. Went both nights around 9 and fished until about 1130- midnight. Any suggestions? Am i too early?
