    My name is Jared Herman and I am a freshmen at Ramapo High School in North Jersey. I want to participate in high school fishing this year but I don't have a boat or Captain. In the previous years I was given a captain for the Junior BASS tournaments but this year I have to find my own. I though it was worth a shot asking on this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There is only 3 (maybe 4) tournaments. I will post the schedule.     Does anyone know of a warm water discharge in the New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania area? I heard there is one on the Potomac River but I cannot find it.

    Hi I'm new the the site and have been fishing since I was little. My dad had my start by using a little Scooby Doo rod and reel and now I'm out fishing using an Ugly Stick. Just started using soft plastics and caught my first using a senko today. Good luck fishing!

    I have been fishing at this lake since I was 5. It's tough to even catch a little bluegill, let alone a bass. I've talked to people that go out on the lake in boats that can get the even the best spots and there is nothing. Anyone know a possible reason good fish can just not be in there anymore? The lake has a history of having high acidic levels but I don't think that's the only reason.

    Today I was out fishing with a buddy and came across a new spot I have never been to before. It was tough to get to because it was so grown over but it was worth it. It was my first time trying out a new senko Texas rigged while my friend used a jitterbait and a popper. All together we scored three smallmouth bass. Any tips for using plastic worms? I'm relatively new to it. Thanks!

    Hello! Long time reader, first time poster. I did a search for this title and haven't exactly reached a straight answer. I want to simply know which one of these great reels is overall the better reel paired with a G. Loomis NRX 894c spooled with 20 lb. braid fishing with jigs/spinners/swimbaits/senkos/t-rigs/c-rigs/buzzbaits in the Northeast of the US. I have my bro selling me his lightly used 2011/12 Calais 201 DC for $300, and I know a new Metanium DC goes for 350-400 on the bay. So help me decide which one is the better reel out of the two.     I was wondering if anybody fishes at Penn Warner Club in Levittown? I live in Philadelphia and only fish banks and its been crappy lately. Is anyone a member who can bring a guest? Id be happy to buy gas or pay for bait or whatever to help out. I always hear about that place and how good the fishing is, but i dont have the 650 bucks a year to be a member. If anyone can help out, or if you live in the area and just have a boat, send me a message and lets talk.
