    I have some Amz GC money to burn, so I checked to see what they had I could use. ATM I am interested in making my own inline spinners. Would any of you purchase "generic" parts or complete inline spinners? Are any of them worth the money? Or should I stick with big names? Are there any of the "generic" brands listed good? Which ones? https://www.amazon.com/s?k=inline+spinners&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 Would they be good for lure designing only or both design & fishing?

    So at my local bait shop, they have all of the inline spinners (Mepps, BlueFox, etc..) under the trout section. I've never paid much attention to the section labeling. If it catches bass, I wouldn't care if if it was in the Dolphin section. However, I started gearing up for some trout fishing plans I have and it appears a lot of the inline spinners are geared toward trout. Couple that with the fact that very rarely have I seen Mepps mentioned at all on this site. Again, I'm going to continue using them as they produce numbers and quality (my PB was on an orange BlueFox Vibrax) but is it in fact a trout-oriented lure? Or just a true multi-specie? Curious

    Hey all, I'm fishing a Mepps Black Fury #4 dressed this weekend and can't find any good pointers on how to fish it. All I've read is that it's good for morning and evening and catches everything from trout to bass to pike. Anybody have any good pointers on retrieval, heaviness of the line, where (open water, shore, brush)? This is literally the first inline spinner I've ever fished for some reason. I saw it on the rack and something about it caught my eye, don't know anything about it besides what I've Googled this morning.

    I bought a mepps aglia size 3 spinner. The website says this is great for bass. I haven't had a bite on it yet, anyone have any input on techniques or if I'm just wasting my time.
