Weather in Virginia has been all over. Has been hard to tell how far along the bass are as far as the pre-spawn goes. In my estimation, many fish are still holding to winter patterns, no? Anyway, from what you all have seen would y'all say we are closer to the beginning or the end of the pre-spawn? Thanks and cheers!

I have noticed that my soft plastic lizard baits tend to retrieve in upside down, which is decidedly noticeable on lizards that have a different color belly than the rest of the lure. I have tried tying the hook on different ways and using different weights to no avail.
Has anyone else expereiced this, and what is the solution to remedy the issue?
