Hello, fellow BR members. Many of you know my partner Robert (SouthFla) and I...we've been active members of this site for awhile.
We have recently launched a company called Hawgtech.com. Our initial product is a carbon fiber reel handle which we're calling the Hawg Handle. Our primary goal was to create a high performance reel handle at a price point much below the JDM handles but at a similiar quality level. To further up the ante, we wanted to create a handle with cork knobs. We think we've accomplished those goals with the Hawg Handle.
We've been field testing the handle for about eight months now...we've had these handles in the hands of South Florida pros/guides and many BR members here who you have come to know.....Capt Shane Procell, Dwight Hottle, bocabasser, LGmouthgambler, shallow thinker, and a couple others who I will refrain from mentioning for the time being (I promise...you will know who they are). The response we've received to the product has been overwhemingly positive. You will immediately notice the difference in performance...these handles are lighter, longer and smoother than virtually any stock handle in existence. And they look pretty good too.

We are still a couple weeks away from offering final product for release...we are making some final tweaks to the design per the input of our user trial personnel and the website is still a little bit a work in progress. But we are very close to launchingthe Hawg Handle.
