My hubby and best fishing partner,( Fishingcowboy) surprised me with an early anniversary gift just now. He'd ordered a Shimano Curado 200G7. I had trouble getting distance with my casts, especially on clear lakes and with weightless soft plastics like a fluke. One of our fishing friends had his rods set up with Curados andI was allowed to try one out.With just a flick of my wrists, I had the fluke thrown 3X the normal distance with my gear. I guess my hubby heard my "...oooooooooo I want one........". But I knew I couldn't swing $$ yet for me. It came today and he was standing there with a big grin and the box behind him. I thought he'd ordered it for him. What a great surprise and gift.
I get to try it tomorrow! Happy dance!!
